The Web Designer will need to be able to present their work to internal clients, and collaborate closely with internal Product, Development, and Marketing teams to see their vision through to completion. They will be responsible for implementing existing brand guidelines in digital environments including websites, mobile applications, and emails. They will also be responsible for site maintenance through the creation of new graphics and layouts at the request of internal stakeholders. Experience working with content management systems such as Drupal and Wordpress, as well as light development experience (HTML, CSS), is a plus.

Required Skills
• Design information architecture, user flows, interfaces, and visual systems that tell compelling stories across WTS’s digital properties
• Design marketing collateral for use on multiple digital platforms
• Partner with engineering and development teams to implement designs and perform QA
• Give and receive design feedback
• Maintain the integrity of brand and design standards throughout all WTS digital properties
• Identify, recommend, and implement the latest web technologies, tools, and services
• Create wireframes for internal and client review
• Create design comps for websites, mobile, email, and digital marketing needs
• Create UI/UX designs for small and large scale websites
• Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite CC, Sketch, or equivalent industry tools
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, light Javascript (coding not required, but must understand the impact of code on design, and vice versa)
• Knowledge of responsive web design conventions, user experience, web standards, optimization and best practices
• Must speak and read fluent English

Required Experience
• Strong portfolio of responsive web design work that shows an attention to detail, typography, color, and composition.
• 2+ years of experience in web design, in either an agency environment or as part of an in-house team
• B.A. or B.S. in Graphic Design, Web Design, HCI, Art, or equivalent industry experience.

Other Preferred Attributes:
• Knowledge of open source CMSs such as Drupal or WordPress
• Experience with digital advertising design and deployment
• Experience designing and coding HTML emails
