Currently we are looking for Windows support engineers to be trained into various data backup and restore tools and become BACKUP AND RECOVERY ENGINEERS, providing remote server and application support to customers. The job purpose is to minimize the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer's production environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Backup system administration and engineering for enterprise-class infrastructure.
• Maintaining internal/external customer backup systems.
• Monitor environments and react to any and all significant alerts, incidents or outages within required time frames and/or contracted service levels.
• Maintain backup environments for multiple customers and internal systems.

Requirements:

• Good Knowledge of Windows/UNIX server platforms
• Basic knowledge in SAN and fiber channel switches is a big plus
• Knowledge in RAID Technology
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS technologies is a plus
• Excellent client interaction and customer service skills
• Must be a self-motivator and fast learner
• Willingness to work on shifts (including night-shifts)
• Fluent English
