Currently we offer a Fantastic opportunity for a Software Distribution Engineer to become a key member of our growing team, working with some of the most prestigious clients designing and implementing projects that result in genuine business improvement.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in the industry looking to develop on prior experience in a consultancy environment, utilizing tools and techniques for Microsoft System Center, Azure, Intune, Cloud, PowerShell, Open-stack, HP and other technologies that deliver to multiple clients of EMEA and worldwide interest.

Role summary:

You will apply those skills to:

- Utilize a broad spectrum of technology to produce part or all of the technical solution for our clients
- Apply depth and breadth of technical knowledge and be individually responsible for the design, project implementation and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise.
- Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, and ensure learnings are shared for reuse.


Qualifications

Core Skills and Experience:

- very good level of knowledge of the Software Distribution product suite with main focus on Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or other enterprise software distribution system.
- Specialist candidates must have exposure to Service Design and Implementation and will be very familiar with implementation and support of Software Distribution solutions for multiple environments
- Good level of exposure to both physical and virtual environments.
- Experience in working within a Project environment and with good understanding of IT Project Management core principles
- Ability to take participate in, or take ownership of a large scale project and liaise with the customer to contribute to the technical design of customer solutions.
- Proficiency in English, German is a strong advantage– Oral and Written;
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience of producing automated and unattended installations of Operating Systems using software distribution toolsets.
- Microsoft certifications in relevant technical areas
- ITIL Accreditation
- 3 years’ experience of using SCCM/Radia/App-V with some exposure to service design / testing infrastructures
- Understanding of patch management tools such as WSUS
- Understanding of Microsoft enterprise systems (Active Directory environments, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012)
- Knowledge of Windows registry and WMI
- Mid-level on SQL Reporting
- Basic networking knowledge
- Good customer service skills and mid experience on that field (preferable on IT Service area)
- Excellent teamwork skills balanced with ability to work alone
