WHO ARE WE?

MobiSystems (Mobile Systems) is the only Bulgarian company that creates and sells its own mobile apps since 2001. It is the company behind OfficeSuite and File Commander – two of the Top 10 apps from the Google Play Business category. These apps have been installed on more than 300 million devices.

MobiSystems is also the creator of UBReader - an electronic book reader with over 5 million installs, Oxford Dictionary of English - 10 million installs, Quick PDF Scanner - 5 million installs, etc.

Currently we have 100 employees in our Headquarters in Sofia.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our 6-person design team that works on our existing mobile apps, as well as new (hybrid) apps. You will be both challenged and helped by the other design team members who are all held to very high professional standards. The same will be expected from you!


Requirements:
3+ years of experience with designing (mobile) websites as well as mobile apps;
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop and Illustrator);
Experience with prototyping tools, as well as Google Material Design;
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field;
Drawing skills;
Living in Sofia or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
Follow the latest trends and development in the app world - hot new apps, guidelines, platforms, competitor products, etc;
Create UI/UX solutions, (screens, icons, transitions, etc.) based on the wireframes and functional descriptions of the Product manager;
Work in a team together with the CEO /Product managers/ Developers/ Other designers in a constructive and open-minded manner. Refine a design until consensus upon an exception product design is reached;
Deliver all assets required by developers in a timely manner;
Provide additional visual design specifications (dimensions, fonts, etc.) when required;
Verify that all visual elements have been implemented as designed, including pixel-level quality checks.
