We're now hiring a BI Specialist at our R&D center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In this position, you’ll have the following duties:
•Prepare SQL queries to test the data accuracy and quality
•Assure the quality of production reports and the consistency of all metrics and definitions across them
•Analyze data trends and search for data quality issues
•Participate in establishing the quality assurance processes
•Ensure that the tested functionality is well documented
•Translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases
•Participate in the test automation of the reports and in the daily results analysis
Also, as a company defined by the spirit of entrepreneurship, you will have to actively take the initiative to find answers and collaborate with your co-workers to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution.
Requirements
In order to successfully fulfil this position, you need to fit the following profile:
•Strong analytical skills and good orientation in business processes
•Experience with BI software (Tableau, QlikView, Jaspersoft...)
•Knowledge of DB programming languages such as SQL, PLSQL, etc
•Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or a related discipline
•Ability to work and think through problems independently and with a team
•Working level of English
It's a plus if you have experience with sales and marketing data, as well as if you have done data profiling, validation, reconciliation, etc.
