Our client is a leader in the rapidly expanding field of online currency trading services for retail and institutional traders. The firm operates out of offices in New York, Plano, San Francisco, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Sofia.

We are seeking career minded, experienced and motivated individuals for full-time position in the Software Development department in our Sofia-based office, which operates as a back office since 2012 and currently employees over 90 people in the following departments: General and Institutional Operations, Compliance, Accounting, Risk, Marketing, Financial Services and Product Development.

The primary function of this role is to work on building iOS and Android applications for our Retail clients. As a leader in the retail and institutional FX market, we continue to expand and build upon our suite of applications that we offer our clients while utilizing the latest technologies. The role requires strategic thinking, core software design skills associated with mobile and web development, and strong communication skills to interact with Project Management, Business, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a diligent, hardworking individual who is able to learn new systems and processes rapidly, can work with little supervision and is capable of delivering outstanding work at all times.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in developing and maintaining iOS and Android mobile applications
• Integrate legacy and new technologies to provide a seamless experience
• Ability to program and debug in Java, Objective-C, and SWIFT
• Successfully complete the software portion of vertical projects that involve both internal and external staff
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Professional experience working with Android and iOS application development
• Professional experience working with mobile application ecosystems: Apple App Store, Google Play
• Ability to estimate work effort as it relates to business goals
• Strong ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Resourcefulness and self-reliance in identifying and solving problems
• Flexibility to adapt to rapid and frequent changes
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
• Ability to escalate issues depending on project priority
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge of networking - internet, extranets, etc.
• Unix or Linux commands knowledge is a plus

Required Qualifications:

• Coding experience in Objective C and SWIFT are mandatory
• Coding experience in Java is mandatory
• Experience with Android and iOS ecosystems is mandatory
• Working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and NodeJS is desirable
• Experience working in a mid-size, global and multi-lingual company where internal structure, process, and interdepartmental cooperation where necessary
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related Engineering fields
• Fluent in English: Written & spoken
