For one of our clients – a leading company in the BPO – we are looking for Information Systems Architect - SQL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Being responsible for the planning, allocation, installation and configuration of SQL Servers - Suggest optimization of existing infrastructure;
* Design, implement, development, staging, and production of database environments - develop comprehensive understanding of current systems;
* Create Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions – monitor and maintenance included;
* Maintain appropriate amounts of disk storage for all SQL Servers, by proper planning;
* Keeping the team up-to-date regarding status of ongoing projects;
* Ensure optimal performance of database and/or server, utilization through proper server configuration, hardware recommendations, software utilities, maintain patch levels on SQL Servers;
* Perform internal security audits and scans, identify vulnerabilities - recommend SQL Server security strategy, Identify and address technical or operational risks;
* Manage and maintain the current database deployment process, user set up and access;
* Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert.


Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience on a similar position;
* University degree in computer science or related field is highly preferable;
* Fluency in English;
* IT Project Management experience will be considered as a strong advantage;
* SQL Server - SSIS development and administration, SQL Server Profiler, DBCC, system stored procedures, DMVs, etc.;
* Excellent track record with virtualization technologies – VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.
T-SQL, PL/SQL;
* Broad knowledge of BI tools & techniques.
