The main purpose of the FP&A Project Analyst’s role is to improve current tools and processes and create new ones in order to meet business needs. This role reports to the Finance Manager.
The FP&A Project Analyst will focus on the development, delivery and maintenance of innovative tools and analytics capabilities that will drive informed decision making and directly impact strategic activities across the EMEA region.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with advanced Excel skills and financial experience who is looking to advance into a role with greater commercial exposure in an international, highly challenging and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role through developing creative new ways of adding value to existing processes that directly impact the growth and profitability of Experian EMEA.
Responsibilities:

Adopt a Predictive Analytics tool and provide support to the EMEA finance teams that are using it. Maintain and further develop database model to meet new business requirements
Have a deep understanding of the EMEA FP&A processes and provide insight to the Finance Leadership team.
Assess and suggest ways to improve EMEA forecasting and budgeting processes.
Design new forecast and analytics tools that would help Central FP&A team monitor regional results. Develop and publish analysis to track key proposition revenue metrics at an EMEA & local level, to fit with requirements of Finance and Sales Ops Teams
Provide technical support to the users of the implemented FP&A tools.
Understand the functionality and structure of implemented data systems and utilize that knowledge to build efficient tools and prevent potential risk.
Provide any additional support that may be required in the regional financial reporting activities.

Requirements:

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in VBA programming code
Experience with Financial process design and improvement
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong academic background with ideally a recognized professional qualification in business, commercial or finance
Driven and ambitious self-starter
Pro-active attitude to innovation and process improvement, ability to drive changes
Experience in a fast-paced dynamic, complex, operational environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent English
Goal oriented - strong commitment to deliver results

Desirable:

Expertise in MS Access Database development and advanced queries is considered a plus.
