Node.js Developer

For our client - a product company developing a cloud-based communications platform, we are looking for an experienced Node.js developer.

Their UI stack is a combination of AngularJS and React. They are actively working to move fully to the React ecosystem and update all applications to use React 18 and TypeScript. They are looking at restructuring their UI towards the micro frontend architecture using the Webpack 5 federation module. Also, the company is a big believer in comprehensive testing automation and CI/CD.

The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Be a part of a professional team.
Write down plenty of code.
Design and develop backend services for video-conferencing applications.
Take an active part in product requirements analysis and technical backlog planning.
Take part in elaborating technical solutions together with architects and other team members.
Perform code review.
Manage technical debt level, initiate refactoring, and fix bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

Experience in development with Node.js, and NoSQL.
Knowledge of modern Node.js.
Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or others message queue systems.
Good engineering and algorithm background.
Backend auto tests development experience.
Ability to work with version control systems.
Fluent English.
