Our current client is an Accounting and Auditing company, providing the full scope of related services. On their behalf we are looking for Accountant Manager to join their team in Sofia. If you are curious about this exciting opportunity, then this might be the chance you have been waiting for!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall accounting operations and accounting activities of the company in accordance with the accounting principles and internal policies;
- Perform monthly closing processes and reconciliations;
- Prepare and administrate contracts with counterparties;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with NAS and IFRS
Issue annual financial reports, analysis and forecasts, annual tax declaration, VAT declaration, Intrastat;
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, monthly cash flow and forecasting through a reliable budget and cash flow processes and reporting mechanism;
- Prepare different reports, returns and documentation for the compliance with the financial and accounting procedures according to the Bulgarian Tax Legislation;
- Maintain relationships with auditors, tax administration and other external monitoring authorities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience on a similar position;
- Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation;
- University degree in Accounting and/or Finance (education in economic technical school is an advantage);
- Good analytical, organizational and communication skills;
- Attention to detail and strict compliance with deadlines;
- Excellent skills in team working;
- Excellent business communication etiquette;
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
- Fluent in English including reading, speaking and writing;
- Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Experience in working with Ajur software will be considered an advantage.
