We at MacGregor are looking for a Sourcing Manager (Fleet Category) to oversee procurement for essential operations, with a focus on Fleet and Travel categories. This role ensures sourcing is cost-effective, controlled, and sustainable, enabling smooth collaboration between employees and suppliers.


Main tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for managing company cars and service vans across multiple countries at a global level, depending on fleet size and complexity.
Advises and supports company end-users and their managers at all levels, up to the executive leadership team.
Collaborates actively with external partners, including vendors, car dealers, importers, manufacturers, leasing companies, and service providers.
Provides country-specific expertise in fleet management areas such as company car selection, ordering, delivery, contract management, and invoice handling.
Works closely with HR teams, contributing to policy creation, implementation, and regular updates.
Focuses on continuous service improvement and takes the initiative to expand services and implement them in new locations.
Analysing spend patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, and leveraging economies of scale to optimise indirect procurement costs.
Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, and innovation to ensure the best value for the organization.
Negotiating contracts with suppliers to establish pricing, terms and conditions, and service-level agreements.
Analyse critical stakeholders and approach them. Engage the stakeholders and establish business partnerships.
Establish business partnerships with the key suppliers, and introduce procurement. Supplier consolidation and limiting tail spend. Establishing preferred supplier lists.
Supports streamlined processes for employees to request indirect goods and services, including approval workflows to ensure compliance.
Ensures compliance with regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards, while managing risks in supplier relationships and procurement activities.
Initiates and supports the implementation of a country-wide car policy.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:
University Degree (Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Legal or similar)
Procurement Knowledge Certifications
Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, in particular, related to fleet and travel management, preferably indirect procurement. Understanding of entire source-to-receipt area is seen as a plus
Extensive experience in working with global and cross-cultural teams
Experience with Indirect Procurement strategy development and implementation
Competncies:

Experience in fleet management
Ability to execute strategic sourcing activities: spend analysis; global supplier identification; tender process management and/or supporting tasks, contract management & administration
Ability to develop the right sourcing strategy by applying complex sourcing techniques
Developing category knowledge and expertise by keeping himself/herself up-to-date on new trends, procurement methodology, and best practices
Understanding the end-to-end source-to-receipt process, vendor master data management
Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communicational skills. Knowledge of budget, cost & performance management
Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
Good at communicating in a professional manner
Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
International mindset
Ability to work with Google Office tools as an advantage
Full professional proficiency in written and oral English required
