Our current client is a Swiss financial and accounting company with newly registered entity in Bulgaria and ambition to rapidly grow its local back-office operations. On their behalf, we are actively looking for Bookkeepers to join and grow within their Varna team.

Responsibilities:
Booking documents for accounts receivable and accounts payable;
Register accounting operations, update and maintain the general ledger;
Draw up primary and secondary accounting documents and balance sheet;
Preparation of various monthly, quarter, annual reports for the needs of the company;
Perform interim and annual closure of accounting records;
Maintain an accurate record of the Company financial transactions;
Preparation of detailed statistics reports;
Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers;
Supervise the financial operations of each client in order to ensure their accounting compliance;
Liaise with auditors and facilitate a smooth and timely audit process for all clients;
High level of confidentiality regarding all accounting information;
Work on other tasks set by the Senior Accountant or company management.

Requirements:
Relevant university degree;
Fluency in both spoken and written English
German language skills are an advantage;
Previous experience as Bookkeeper or Accountant;
MS-Office skills and advanced knowledge of MS-Excel;
Highly detail-oriented and organized;
Ability to meet deadlines;
Team player with good personal values;
