We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team!

The Business Analyst would be responsible for conducting detailed analysis and product design, producing outline specifications of business requirements and preparing feasibility proposals for internal and / or external design. Responsible for support and delivery of the project through Development, QA, UAT and Production.

Job Description
· Negotiates prioritisation requirements with Senior Business Analysts, Product Managers, Account Managers, Principle Product Consultants and Business Consultants.
· Escalate all projects that are, or at risk of being, outside agreed parameters and recommend effective corrective action.
· Create and maintain relevant artefacts as required by the project e.g. User Guides, Implementation Guides, Training Guides etc to departmental standards in line with the project plan.
· Ensure that all product and project documentation is complete and fully handed over to Operations and support service acceptance activities.
· Identify measures to improve delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Identifies and engages relevant stakeholders appropriately (clients, third party suppliers, internal team etc.) and their area and level of influence in each project.
· Communicates programme of work (progress reports & future plans) to stakeholders and Senior Business Analysts and recommend effective corrective action.
· Proactively develops own specialist expertise and commercial awareness, understanding the relevant business area(s) and its customers.
· Conducts product/system demonstrations to others in the team, department, division.
· Pro-actively identify risks and make recommendation to mitigate these.

Qualifications
· Experience in a business analyst role or similar in an IT Environment.
· Experience or background in software development projects and delivery methodologies preferred.
· A sound understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with project management concepts.
· A good understanding and demonstrable practical experience of the application of different business analysis tools and techniques and their impact on project success.
· Effective planning and prioritisation skills to manage team tasks in an appropriate way to deliver on project commitments.
· Technical knowledge coupled with a strong business acumen.
· Ability to communicate (Written and oral) technical issues to a non-technical, business audience.
