Due to building a new team in Varna, Bulgaria, together with our client we are on the hunt for an experienced:
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
As a Development Manager you will join and manage a new team of Software Developers based in Varna, Bulgaria. Your responsibilities will be related but not limited to:
* Communication with customers regarding current projects and new features development;
* Participation in architectural and solution design;
* Management of a team of software developers, sharing knowledge, experience and best practices;
* Identify potential performance, security or functionality problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of professional experience with full software release cycle (design, implementation, document, test, deployment);
* Strong knowledge, understanding and experience in web development - Node.js, ReactJS + Redux, JavaScript, SQL or NoSQL databases, REST, SOAP, XML and JSON
* Experience or understanding of design patterns, SOA, ESB, microservices, release cycle
* Experience in working on different layers of the application - front-end, back-end, services integrations, and database;
* University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related technical specialty;
* Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal);
* Readiness to travel abroad when needed and communicate with customers;
* Previous experience in leading a software development team would be considered an advantage.
