We are presently recruiting for talented, driven and innovative Application Support Engineers who can contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our evolving software applications. As the ASP.NET Application Support Engineer you will efficiently and strategically evaluate, support, test, and debug our proprietary software products.



Responsibilities



Provide English support to internal clients on the company’s proprietary software products and registered software applications:

Evaluate and action alerts on a daily bases to prevent client escalations related to data
Complete time sensitive tasks impacting our internal clients
Work with colleagues from non-technical departments (internal clients) to identify bugs in our software and evaluate and implement their requests
Communicate and collaborate with team members and internal clients in an effective and collaborative manner in order to provide high-quality solutions


Provide ongoing support and maintenance to the company’s software products:

Troubleshoot and analyze code in ASP Classic, MSSQL, ASP.Net and JQuery
Maintain SQL processes and database related applications
Write stored procedures and database views to simplify data access
Maintain and debug our software products and websites
Write code that is clean and elegant that solves highly complex problems


Required Technical Skills:

Strong ASP and ASP.NET programming skills
Extensive writing stored procedures in MS SQL databases
Advanced debugging skills
A solid understanding of CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, AJAX and Json
An understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including W3C standards compliance and issues related to cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
Knowledge of MS SQL, SSIS, RDBMS and their specific tools: SQL, Transact SQL, Enterprise manager, Query Analyser
Knowledge of TFS and work process with TFS
Knowledge of how to use Visual Studio 2014 and 2017 platform
Experience working with frameworks
Experience working with MVC
Basic knowledge of IIS
Basic knowledge of network services and communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL)
A solid understanding on C#
Code optimization skills, for database and web are an asset
Advanced knowledge with the use of web services and APIs

Education:

· Professional experience using ASP, ASP.Net and MS SQL

· Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
