We are looking for a bright individual to step in the role of a QA Lead. You will be taking care of a team of QAs and will be part of the team hiring, retention, and career development. You will participate in the creation of enterprise-class applications using proven design patterns on the latest technology platforms. You will use the Scrum development methodology to create 21st-century software solutions that set standards.

Responsibilities

Take care of QAs career development
Conduct the annual reviews and evaluate team member performance
Set up goals based on desired career development and company strategy
Motivate and encourage QAs
Participate in hiring and training QAs
Define and implement effective and efficient testing processes, documentation, tools, and testing methodologies
Monitor more than one software development project and assist with guidance and help when needed
Provide technical guidance to the test team to ensure test activities are performed according to the developed test strategy and test plan
Conduct documentation reviews on more than one software development project to ensure successful project release
Develop test strategies and test plans for effective and efficient testing practice
Develop and maintain QA project plan. Define and implement roles, responsibilities, and deliverable expectations for all team members
Lead systems integration testing, end to end testing, user testing, and regression test activities across all supported applications
Define and support building test environments

Competencies

4+ years of hands-on experience with full application life cycle testing
Experience in a leadership role
Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire others
Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
Excellent people skills – a demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals, both in gathering information and communicating direction and status
Constantly seeks ways to improve processes for increased agility and quality
Expert knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes
Highly skilled in developing and executing manual test suites
Experience with using Agile Management tool to track and manage user stories/tasks/defects
Adheres to development standards and best practices, software development lifecycle processes
Excellent spoken and written English
