Who are we?

Mobile Systems (MobiSystems) is the only Bulgarian company that creates and sells its own mobile apps since 2001. It is the company behind OfficeSuite and File Commander – two of the Top 10 apps in the Google Play Business category. These apps have been installed on more than 300 million devices.

MobiSystems is also the worldwide business partner of Oxford University Press, Collins, McGraw-Hill, Webster’s and others and has published 800+ mobile dictionary apps. Currently we have over 120 employees in our Headquarters in Sofia. We also have offices in the US, China and the UK.

What are we looking for?

We are working on a new project to develop an innovative software platform for free publication of and access to e-books. In short, think of it as “YouTube for e-books”. The software platform will consist of: 1) A responsive web site, 2) A cloud-based back-end, 3) An Android book reader.

We are looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to join the team working on the web + back-end part of the project.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with developing full-stack applications with (some of) the following:
* Server-side technologies: PHP, Symfony, MySQL, Google Cloud Platform or AWS, REST APIs * Client-side technologies: React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a small agile team and quickly iterate and deliver features
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Living in Sofia or willing to relocate
