Senior Solutions Developer
Sofia

Mission of the role:

Responsible for development of new functionality for current data processing system
Implementing new and enhancing existing systems and processes
Mentoring Junior Developers

Main Responsibilities:

Analyzing new requirements to existing systems
Developing functionality in C# to further automate GfK’s current data processing system
Defining test cases and performing tests
Creating documentation of current and future system functionality
Working closely with other developers world-wide
Providing 3rd level support
Acting as mentor for junior developers
Pro-actively suggesting system improvements

Required competencies/skills:

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in modern programming languages (preferably C#)
Senior programming skills in C# .NET
Experience in agile software development principles (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
Experience in working with Oracle databases
Good problem analysis and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, results driven, taking full responsibility for the role
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
