Position Title: Java Developer - Global Software Group

Experian is currently aiming to expand its Sofia based Global Software Group division and is looking for Java Application Developer
Responsibilities:

Take part in the development of a large scale enterprise platform, component based frameworks, following receipt of system/program requirements, by:

Formulation of the technical requirements.
Participation in formulation of business requirements in cooperation with product owner.
Comprehensive and accurate program/system design.
Development of robust, resilient, scalable and easily maintainable systems
Production of unit tests and maintaining good code quality
Traveling outside Bulgaria, when projects require.
Involvement and participation in the SCRUM and Kanban processes.
Working in distributed multicultural environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years programming experience in Java.
A thorough understanding of the concepts of OOP.
A thorough understanding and experience of design patterns.
Service oriented architectures – SOAP, REST.
Understanding of databases and basic SQL skills.
University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong communicational skills and ability to cooperate with distant software development teams.
Fluency in English.

Any of the following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:

Spring framework, Spring MVC.
Java web programming – Servlets, JSP.
Single page application programming – JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
Modular architectures – OSGi.
Database programming – JDBC, JPA, Hibernate or other ORM framework.
DevOps Experience – Maven, Ant, Jenkins.
Test driven development.
Working experience with the SCRUM/Kanban processes.
