On behalf of our client we would like to present the role of ESSBASE Developer

• Maintenance and development of Essbase reporting tools and systems and field reporting, planning and outlooking requirements / cycles
• Manage the update of and provide support to specific systems, including Reporting Engine (used by many European countries / units), Activity Reporting and Leasing Reporting Systems
• Working with other team members, support full implementation of SmartView across Europe, including updates to various front-end workbooks.
• Provide high-level of Essbase technical expertise / training / advice to finance user community. Analysis and resolution of Essbase operational issues
• Provide support to field and Europe Headquarters units during month-end actuals close processes.
• Implement future reporting strategy / Essbase systems and enhancements, working with the Manager, Enterprise Reporting


Requirements:

• Strong Essbase development and technical skills / experience (minimum of 4 years working in a suitable environment)
• SmartView knowledge and, ideally, good VBA skills.
• Good analytical skills, organization and planning
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Quality driven / thorough /attention to detail
• Motivated & customer focused
• Ability to deliver, with strong bias for action
• Ability to work at a high standard, at times under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
• Mature & responsible character
