For our trusted client with almost 20 years experience in the beauty industry we are looking to hire Social Media Manager to joing their growing team!

The Social media manager is responsible for managing the company social media accounts, pages and online interactions with customers through social media.

Responsibilities:

• Creating the social media strategies for the brands of the company, ensuring they align with their corresponding marketing strategies.
• Successfully targeting and engaging the core audiences of the brands – professional stylists/hairdressers and consumers (End-users).
• Developing a content calendar across all platforms ensuring a constant supply of relevant content.
• Working closely with marketing, creative & design teams as well as set stylists, models, photographers, retouchers and location managers in order to ensure proper content will be delivered on time and will match the quality of the brands.
• Taking care for the community management and media support, engaging with customers through the use of social media (responding to messages, handling/forwarding different type of enquiries to their destination, etc.).
• Working closely with social media managers within the distributors and supervise their social media activities for the company brands.
• Preparing and carrying presentations of social media strategies in front of the brand’s global distributors during distributors meetings, conferences or industry exhibitions.
• Looking after UGC (User-generated content) that can be regrammed onto company’s communication channels.
• Monitoring and responding on social media platforms to customer comments.
• Maximizing followers on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google plus and Pinterest.
• Engaging with customers to resolve customer service issues and or create positive PR opportunities.
• Reporting on social media mentions of the brand internally and providing useful feedback to product and marketing teams.
• Building reporting frameworks to evaluate return on investment on the various platforms.
• Analyzing social media insights to guide future social media campaigns.
• Keeping up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms, implementing and applying them in his/hers daily work.
• Continuous research into new relevant social media channels and their impact on the brands marketing.
• Planning and delivery of community management strategies through social media.

The ideal background:

• 3-5 years of experience as a social media manager in the cosmetics, beauty and
fashion industries.
• Bachelor or master’s degree in marketing or PR.
• Proficiency in English - Perfect spelling and grammar skills.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing, search engine optimization and how social media impacts this.
• Strong understanding of content management systems.
• Articulate and professional communication and copywriting skills.
• Fluent in Apple Keynote or Microsoft Power Point.
• Passionate and results driven individual.
• Ability and willingness to travel abroad from time to time, as well as to participate in exhibitions.
