WEB DEVELOPER


As part of a small but friendly team of software minds in Sofia and in US, you will have the opportunity to work on a complex and fascinating product which combines AI/machine learning and data mining. You’ll participate in learning, updating, improving, and expanding the system up as well as building unit, integration, and system tests.
The team is built from 4 experienced web developers and 2 QAs

Required experience and skills:
* 1+ years of professional experience in software development with web development preferably with Ruby on Rails or JavaScript/Ember, but other OOP language is welcome too.
* Understanding of Ruby on Rails programming language and desire to get deeper in it
* Database knowledge and experience (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
* Experience with Test Driven Design (TDD) RSpec, Cucumber, Capibara, Continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)
* Extended knowledge in Shell scripting and Perl, Python
* Fluent English (both written and verbal).

Advantages:
* Working knowledge of Nginx web server
* Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus (ElasticSearch, Mongo)
* Knowledge of Information security (e.g. IPTables), capacity planning, network monitoring and management (e.g. Cacti, Nagios), provisioning (e.g. Chef).
