For one of our clients - one of the leading retailers in Europe - we are looking for Application Support Specialist.

The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for the operations of all the administration systems.

The suitable candidate must have:

Expert in OS Windows Server (2003,2008);
Knowledge of databases like Oracle, MS SQL and My SQL;
General knowledge about datacenter components like server and network systems;
Deep understanding of IT concepts;
Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
Excellent teamwork skills.

Main responsibilities:

System installation, configuration and administration (Windows server + application server);
Responsible for 2nd and 3rd level support for monitored systems;
Design and implementation of new systems and infrastructures;
Identify infrastructure requirements and implement optimizations;
Issue of technical documentation and knowledgebase articles;
Provide recommendations to architectures and installations.
