For one of our clients - one of the leading retailers in Europe - we are LOOKING for Hadoop Administrator.The suitable candidate must have:
A degree in computer science or other related subjects;
Experience with Hortonworks or any other HADOOP distribution: YARN, MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Zookeeper, Kafka and Hive;
Good Linux knowledge: Shellscripting, Knowledge with kerberos on Linux;
Experience with Eclipse IDE or PyCharm is beneficial;
Strong English verbal and written skills;
Main responsibilities:
Administration and development of a complex integration environment;
Provide the database support, administration, scalability, performance tuning, release and architecture of large-scale data processing, aggregation and retrieval systems;
Ensuring Greater Reliability, High Performance, High Availability, Scalability and support our internal customers with the use of the Hadoop platform.
