Who are we?

MobiSystems (Mobile Systems) is the only Bulgarian company that creates and sells its own mobile apps since 2001. It is the company behind OfficeSuite and File Commander - apps with more than 100 million installs in the Google Play Store.

Currently we have over 120 employees in our Headquarters in Sofia.
We also have offices in the US, China and the UK.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a junior UI / UX Designer for our flagship Android apps – OfficeSuite, File Commander and Aqua Mail.
You will become part of our 7-person design team that is responsible for evolving the UI/UX of the MobiSystems applications, so that they become the best in their category.

You’d have:

To love doing UI / Illustration / UX - and be able to prove it in your portfolio.
To constantly strive to be better and more efficient at what you do.
To be proactive
To be able to take guidance and accept criticism
About a year experience working as a UX or Web designer
Some experience using a Mac computer
To not be dependent on any particular tool. You’d mostly use Sketch in your day-to-day work, but you’d be expected to pick up and learn Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Framer, Marvel or Balsamiq if a task requires it.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field
Drawing skills
To be living in Sofia or willing to relocate
Last-year students are welcome as well

What you’ll do:

Collaborate closely with more experienced designers, product managers developers and testers to transform ideas and designs into actual software
Create wireframes and high-fidelity designs
Deliver all production assets & design specifications required by developers – images, icons, colors, dimensions, resolutions, etc.
Verify that all visual elements have been implemented as designed, including pixel-level quality checks.
Work on multiple projects at the same time
