Are you a Microservices Engineer ready to join Paysafe and build the next generation Digital Wallets, Money Transfer or Payment Processing products and to optimize all the processes behind the scenes!



What you will really do

You contribute to our microservices architecture and our RESTFul web services
You write testable code that will be continuously integrated and deployed, and will therefore have a real effect on live environments
You coach and provide feedback to other developers


How you will do it

You actively participate in your multidisciplinary team’s Scrum process
You initiate and participate in discussions about technical choices and architecture. Choices that were made in the past are not rules
You open pull requests and discuss solutions with your teammates to make your team even better, and to maintain a high level of quality in our code base


Team

You'll work in a team with other Engineers, each of them passionate for code quality and testability, for algorithms and scalability. Together with the team next door, your team forms a family that is supported by a Dev Manager, and complemented by a Scrum Master and a Product Manager



What we are asking

You know by heart about Microservices architecture and REST Web Services
You are an experienced developer with Java 8 or other Object-oriented language*
You know your databases - RDBMS (i.e. Oracle, MySQL or PostgresSQL) or noSQL DBs (Hadoop, MapR, MongoDB, etc.)
You have a solid understanding of Git(hub)
Scrum/Agile comes naturally to you.
You're able to solve problems using accepted best practices and principles like TDD/BDD, SOLID and design patterns.


* If you lack Java experience, but have really strong background in another OO language – .Net/C#, Scala, Python, Go, etc., we are ready to provide you opportunity to switch to Java.
