We are looking to hire a PHP Developer who will work in a team of uniquely intelligent technologists to implement and extend groundbreaking web applications that make the world a better place!

You will participate in the creation of enterprise-class applications using proven design patterns on the latest technology platforms. This position requires a strong hands-on developer that will fully participate in the software development process – design, development, unit testing and technical documentation. You will use the Scrum development methodology to create 21st century software solutions that set standards.

Job Description
Develop web-based corporate business IT solutions in PHP
Communicate frequently with client’s expert personnel and subject matter experts
Participate in the development portion of software production
Participate in rapid, prototype-based, design sessions
Review business requirements and functional design specifications
Design and create database backend
Develop flexible and robust platform architecture to support changing business requirements
Leverage and generate reusable design standards to be utilized throughout platform
Ensure formal review and approval process for all deliverables
Ensure software deliverable meets business requirements
Manage application build and deployment process

Requirements
2+ year experience in developing web applications
Expert level in PHP programming
Expert level in database design and implementation using MySQL
Expert level in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead/handle/organize development process for complex software projects
Excellent people skills – demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non technical individuals, both in gathering information and communicating direction and status.
Excellent analytical skills and obsessive attention to detail
A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
A passion for building great software
Responsible and team oriented person

An advantage would be
Experience with Angular
Experience with Zend Framework 2, Symfony 2, Laravel, Phalcon or YII 2 Framework
Experience with WordPress and Magento CMS
Experience integrating with 3rd party web APIs and payment processing gateways such as Authorize.net and PayPal
Experience with data scaling and/or hadoop universe
Experience with Linux/Unix administration and configuration.
Experience with cloud based environments.
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or similar
