Position Title: Database Tech Lead
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test and maintain software applications;
Provide technical guidelines to other team members;
Communicate progress and collaborate with multiple stakeholders;
Participate in the whole software development lifecycle – analysis (together with BA), estimations, build and delivery to an agreed time, quality and cost.
Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience in database development;
Excellent database design and modeling skills;
Excellent knowledge in database development (including the development of stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, types, tables, views, indexes, jobs, etc.) with Oracle and/or other databases;
Excellent database tuning and optimization skills;
Data investigation skills;
Ability to work with ticketing systems;
Ability to document solutions;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent English;
Ability to work with cross-region virtual teams (incl. third-party and/or partner members.
Any of the below technical skills will be considered as an advantage:
MSSQL or DB2 experience;
DBA skills;
ETL knowledge.
