The Business and Operation Manager with focus on inventory Tools & Data within the global planning organization is responsible for providing Global leadership and support for data management, analysis and reporting across the operational and financial systems used throughout the Business.

Additionally, the role will involve supporting key projects that are critical to the development of new tools and business processes.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

Drive reporting standardization across the regions, acknowledging regional specifics as required
Maintain a good understanding of the business evolution, plus process and system changes, so that the reporting is continually adjusted. Drive change management as required
Work closely with Business operations and data analytics team on supervising the report production and report portfolio management
Act as inventory reporting focal into system/environment change initiatives,
Responsible for modelling, design, development and evolution maintenance of a comprehensive set of operational and business reports and metrics (Regular and ad-hoc)
Execute regular or ad-hoc analysis to support business and operations process monitoring and management decision making.
Design and deliver management level summaries to support various business reviews and forums
Regular and ad-hoc business analysis
Identify and deliver reporting efficiencies and automation where possible
Provide system, data and reporting inputs on key initiatives when required
Provide root/cause analysis and resolution on data quality/integrity issues
Provide leadership on key system/IT changes that impact the data environment

Requirements:

Degree in IT with Finance related subject, ideally with IT or analytical bearing
5+ years of professional experience in data management and business analysis;
SOLID understanding of BS and accounting is a must have!
Project management experience is considered a strong plus
Thorough knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis.
Superior data management and analytical skills
Capacity to assess business requirements and provide adequate data solution
Enjoy data crunching, creativity and data management optimization
Ability to communicate effectively across different business functions and corporate hierarchy, ideally in multi-cultural environment
Focus on the detail together with ability to assess the big picture
Strong leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management
Team player, communicative and flexible
Self-starter and capable of working independently
SAP (S4)/ERP system experience is a strong plus
Excellent in MS office applications (Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
Knowledge in data management tools like SQL, Powerpivot is a strong plus
