On behalf of a client of ours we are looking for Information Security Engineer

Position overview:
Information Security Engineer helps to safeguard organization’s computer networks and systems. Plan and carry out security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.

Key responsibilities:

Implementation of DPM’s Cyber Security program, which helps the company to increase security posture.
Identifying and respond to cyber threats. A company's data and systems need to be safeguarded before something happens — not just repair the damage after it’s been done. Infromation Security Engineer is part of our threat and vulnerability team and help to manage and improve the VM program.
Preventing Information loss – Information Security engineer is part of Data Protection team, which works with Data Owners to perform risk assessment for each data type, define the rules and deploy data protection solution.
Installs, configures and troubleshoot information security infrastructure and technologies – Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Splunk, Data Loss Prevention tools, Network access control systems and others
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancements.
Investigates Security breaches - If a breach has occurred, the Information Security Engineer participates in incident response activities to minimize the impact. Afterwards, participates in technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage.
Reacts on and investigates Information Security Policy violations.
Identify and define system security requirements and standards.
Prepare and document standard security operating procedures and protocols.
Provides awareness training of the workforce on information security standards, policies and best practices.

Qualifications and requirements:
Must possess capabilities in one or more of the following: Threat and Vulnerability Management, IT Security and Strategy,Data Security and Governance. The successful incumbent must also possess broad experience as follows:

Minimum 3+ years of related work experience in IT industry - Network Security, Operating systems security, applications security, etc.
A degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
Experience with Anti-virus software, intrusion detection and prevention, firewalls and content filtering.
One or more of the following certifications will be considered as adwantage:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
ISSAP – Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP).
ISSEP – Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP).
Cisco Certified Security Professional or relevant.
Good understanding of various security domains.
Cloud Security will be considered an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interes in further developing Cyber Security skills.
Ability and comfort level researching current and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
Excellent teamwork skills.
