Financial Reporting Applications Specialist
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for the role of Financial Reporting Applications Specialist to be responsible for reporting tools & systems development and maintenance.

The purpose of the role is development & support of business critical, financial reporting applications for use across all European field units.

We are looking for a specialist with good technical skills & experience: Strong Essbase development, SmartView and VBA skills.
Previous experience as a Finance systems process Specialist would be a strong advantage.
Ability to work responsibly, independently and at a high standard, to achieve results and meet deadlines is very important for the role. Good analytical skills, organisation and planning, excellent communication skills will be your strong advantage.


Principal Accountabilities:
Maintenance and development of IO Essbase reporting tools and systems to support IO HQ and field reporting, planning and outlooking requirements / cycles.
Manage the update of and provide support to specific systems, including Reporting Engine (used by many European countries / units), Activity Reporting and Leasing Reporting Systems.
Working with other team members, support full implementation of SmartView across IO, including updates to various front-end workbooks.
Provide high-level of Essbase technical expertise / training / advice to finance user community. Analysis and resolution of Essbase operational issues
Provide support to field and HQ units during month-end actuals close processes.
Implement future reporting strategy / Essbase systems and enhancements, working with the Manager, Enterprise Reporting.
