Position Title: Senior Technical Consultant

Overview:
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you would provide pre and post sales technical consultancy and expert project support in a global capacity. Act as a preferred go-to person for all delivery teams for topics regarding technical consultancy and integration advice for a particular product or range of products.

Responsibilities:
Lead / participate in the technical delivery of solutions either for client or internal projects; execution of the task as per the SDLC and the engagement agreed with the region.
Provide subject matter expertise and drive improvements via Directive Consultancy
Gather inputs from multiple areas of the business (cross products or cross vertical markets) and study the ideas/concepts/requests to identify any global themes.
Facilitate or participate to brainstorming sessions aiming at obtaining productivity gains in the delivery community (through process improvements, tools & other).
Identify and define tactical improvements for the delivery community
Participate in Post Implementation Reviews and follow up actions related to the Lessons Learned owned by GDE.
Maintain a continuous discussion with Global Product Management in term of roadmap. Feedback delivery requirements and identify product changes which can save delivery time, and promote within Global Product Management.
Drive or participate in the global delivery readiness work streams of the Product launch. Prepare the delivery readiness of the regions and central teams to adopt the new products:
Assess the required skills and proposal to address gaps in conjunction with Learning & Development and training teams.
Review documentation and product collateral aimed at delivery community to identify gaps
Manage and participate in the updating/creating of delivery templates as required for the new release
Provide input to Global Product Management and Global Software Group.
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant university degree
Substantial experience of Technical Consultancy in a service delivery environment
Considerable experience of Lead Technical Consultancy and solution architecture in large and complex enterprise wide integration solutions
Ability to work with a virtual team and a high number of stakeholders.
Excellent capacity to transfer knowledge, train and mentor other resources in the company.
Consultancy skills, being able to elicit the key drivers and requirements from the client and provide the right solution for standard solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills
Effective communication and presentation of propositions and solutions
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to travel around 25% of the time
Team work, flexibility, analytical and logic thinking approach
Excellent organisational and time management skills
