Experian is currently expanding Sofia based Global Software Group division and is looking for Senior Software Engineer for newly formed Optimization Solutions team. Next Generation Optimization Solutions are technological evolution of globally available Experian product MarketSwitch Optimization. The product helps businesses to evaluate competing goals, priorities and deliver customer-centric solutions by applying mathematical/statistical models to different optimization problems including Big Data scenarios. Development team’s core objective is to transform current product into customer friendly and appealing Software as a Service solution which simplifies KPIs driven optimization and strategy validation.

This role would suit someone with good technical experience in one of the following: Java, C/C++, .Net, and has worked with the Spring Framework. In terms of best practice, the teams work using SCRUM within agile and continuous delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

Working in a Scrum Product development team
Quickly researching new technologies and applying gathered knowledge
Creating product designs or architectures in accordance with the long-term product strategy
Documenting findings and proposed solutions
Participating in grooming of business requirements in cooperation with Product Owner and suggesting optimal and creative technical approaches
Delivering high quality software by meeting all functional and non-functional product requirements
Producing unit and other automated and/or manual end-to-end tests
Performing peer code reviews
Participating in the formulation of technical requirements
Integration with other Experian and/or external products and frameworks
Being able to comply with deadlines
Involvement and participation in the SCRUM and Kanban process
Working in distributed multi culture environment
The successful candidate will have:

Minimum of 5 years programming experience
Excellent understanding of OOP concepts and proven expertise with design patterns and architectures
Extensive expertise with enterprise systems and applications
Experience with OSGi, Spring Framework, Spring Boot
Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases
Experience with Continuous Integration and Linux
Product and Team responsibility
High motivation for continuous learning, acquiring of new skills and knowledge
Open communication attitude (i.e. active listening, giving feedback), strong presentation skills and fluency in written and verbal English
Working experience with SCRUM / Kanban processes
University Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent

Any of the following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:

Knowledge or previous experience with optimization and analytics solutions
Experience with SOA architecture – SOAP, REST
Experience with AWS & Continuous Deployment
Experience as a Scrum Master
