LINUX ADMINISTRATOR - STORAGE


Responsibilities:

The Linux Administrator – Storage will be responsible for deployment and maintenance of software components; hardware and software monitoring; evaluation and modification of system’s performance; tools automation; configuration of backup routines / test recovery procedures for infrastructure components. Last but not least, the Administrator will set up and configure application servers and firewalls.


Main requirements:

- 4+ years of commercial experience in System Administration (Linux);
- Strong knowledge and experience with installation, configuration, patch maintenance, security and recovery of Linux servers (pref. CentOS, RedHat);
- Experience in setup of storage servers and storage paths;
- Experience with different storage based on ZFS, XFS and the like, understanding of UNIX storage subsystems;
- Understanding of setup and administration of NFS and DNS;
- Good networking skills including troubleshooting, patch maintenance and recovery, DHCP, routing, firewalls, and VLAN;
- Good command of English language (B2 level minimum).


Advantages:
