Experienced Business Intelligence Engineer
We are looking to hire an Experienced Business Intelligence Engineer with strong SQL skills who will work directly with our client’s technical experts to architect, implement and extend enterprise web-based applications and services in existing multi-platform system.

You will participate in the creation of enterprise-class applications using proven design patterns on the latest technology platforms. This position requires a strong hands-on developer that will fully participate in the software development process – design, development, unit testing and technical documentation. You will use the Scrum development methodology to create 21st-century software solutions that set standards.

Job Description
Participatе in the design and development phase of software production
Developing and executing analyses that provide important insight into the business
Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and caching
Day to day communication with US-based team members, expert personnel and subject matter experts
Participate in rapid, prototype-based, design sessions
Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical perspective on approach, risk and estimated development time
Develop a flexible and robust platform architecture to support changing business requirements
Design and architect database backend as well as web-services to interface with external applications
Work with the latest development and server technologies from Microsoft
Required skills
2+ years in experience with MS SQL 2008R2/2012/2014
Expert level in T-SQL
Expert in using tools to profile SQL execution and optimize SQL code to achieve maximum performance
Good knowledge in database design, modelling and database query execution optimization techniques
Building reports using PowerBI/Tableau/other reporting tools
Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and concepts
Fluent in English
Significant advantage would be
Working experience with .NET Framework
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Experience in working with large sets of data
Knowledge of NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB)
Knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)
Experience with Hadoop/Hive/Spark
