Senior Python or Go Developer (Acronis Data Cloud Platform) - Sofia
Acronis Data Cloud is a platform that delivers data protection services across the globe with an unprecedented level of ease. With one installation, customers gain access to backup, disaster recovery, file sync and share, notarization and e-signature services, all managed from a single console.

We are searching for experienced developers in Acronis Data Cloud Platform team. Platform is used by thousands of our partners all over the world for delivering services to their end-users. Candidate should have experience of developing highly available cloud services, pay attention to details and be able to solve non-standard problems.



We are looking for a strong Python/Golang developer to:

Design and develop new features in the scalable fault-tolerant cross-platform cloud micro-services, which are used by millions of users
Create high quality code and pass code reviews with peers and acceptance tests
Contribute into building frameworks for micro-services, event publishing, test automation, and continuous integration / continuous deployment
Keep track of latest technologies advancements in software development industry and apply them to improve Acronis cloud services


Skills & Experience:

At least 3 year of experience writing well-designed, high-quality production code in Python and/or Go
Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering principals (standard algorithms, data structures, multithreading and multiprocessing, unit tests)
Database design skills and experience writing high performance database queries
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience of working with large existing code base
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Language proficiency: English (intermediate).


In addition to Python/Go, it would also be beneficial if you had experience in any of the following areas:

Experience of working with team and cross-team communications
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MySQL
Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ in particular)
Rich experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with build and deployment technologies and systems (Jenkins, Bitbacket/Git, Jira, Kubernetes, Helm)
Understanding of system API and its platform specific (Windows, Linux)
