Senior Software Developer C++ (Express delivery team) - Sofia
We are looking for Software Developer C++ who is also willing to study Go lang to join our newly creating cross-functional team in R&D center in Bulgaria, Sofia. This involves working collaboratively with all teams including RnD departments based in other offices.

The goal of Express delivery team is implementing crucial solutions to extend functionality of Acronis Backup and Acronis Data Cloud products. Those solutions are extremely important and requested directly by Acronis customers. Main point of this team is provide a new functionality quicker then main development team. The team will have several backend and frontend developers and has own quality assurance engineers. Development will cover big amount of different Acronis micro-services so you will use different programming languages and technologies, solve various complex issues and implement new architecture solutions.



Responsibilities:

Understand and analyze product requirements and communicate with product management teams
Design and develop new features in the scalable fault-tolerant cross-platform cloud micro-services, which are used by millions of users
Create high-quality code and pass code reviews with peers and acceptance tests
Performing code reviews; implementing unit tests; debugging and integrating code


Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of commercial software developing in the field of software engineering
Strong programming skills in C++ or Go
Solid understanding of HTTP / Authentication / Web services/ REST API
Experience with build and deployment technologies and CI systems (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Jira etc)
Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
Good knowledge of OS Linux
Knowledge of Python will be a plus
Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for projects and tasks
Fluent English
