Acronis True Image is a software for backup with millions of active users. Thanks to our software our customers feel safe and protected against system or hardware failure. Anytime user can recover the whole system including operating system, applications, settings and personal data.

Your task as a software engineer would be to make the new product version flawless. True Image is constantly developing, we are bringing new features based on innovative technologies every version release.
You'll be working closely with the rest of the engineering and product teams to architect & develop a lightweight and performant desktop application.


We are looking for a strong software developer to:

Design, develop, integrate, debug code for Windows/Mac OS platforms;
Write unit and automated tests;
Develop low-level file system code;
Optimize data transition protocols.


Job Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge of C++ and STL;
Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering principals (standard algorithms, data structures, multithreading and multiprocessing, design patterns);
At least 3 year of experience writing well-designed, high-quality production code;
A willingness to dive into existing code base.
As well as C++ knowledge, it would also be beneficial if you had experience in any of the following areas:

Experience of working with large team and cross-team communications;
Familiarity with build and deployment technologies and tracking systems (Jenkins, Git, Jira);
Understanding of system API and its platform specifics (Windows, MacOS);
Familiarity with Golang and C languages;
Knowledge of Python or any other scripting language.
