American company which is operating as a hedge fund admin, being one of the leaders in its field in NY, US. Now the company is expanding its team with many new IT Geeks and we are helping them to find a professional for the position of:
MONITORING ENGINEER
The role:
You will be part of the team and will be focused on the daily operational KTLO (Keep The Light On) tasks, to ensure all monitoring requests are successfully implemented in a timely manner.
You will have some tasks related to maintenance and automation, as well as will work with other team members to develop an innovative solution to improve the team’s offerings.
The requirements:
- Hands-on experience of working with infrastructure monitoring products;
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Ruby);
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including but not limited to, virtualization, network devices, operating systems (both Windows and Linux) etc.
- Strong ability to integrate any systems and applications using vendor provided or custom integration points;
- Good knowledge of SQL.
