We are looking to grow our partners R&D teams with experienced Database Developers and Administrators.

You will play an important role in ensuring the teams production as well as development environments run without interruption and with the necessary performance and security to support the ever growing architecture. You will be responsible for the development and creation of new database functionality, data integration, and performance tuning of both the database and queries.

On any given day you may be involved in :

● Install, customize, upgrade or migrate databases or database software tools;
● Establish, maintain and implement database backup and recovery procedures;
● Administer database security, control and monitor user access to database information;
● Normalize databases, align or correct corrupt data, as well as help migrate database
structures;
● Create and run complex queries and automation scripts for operational data processing;
● Research, plan, design and develop specifications for future database requirements;
including enhancements, upgrades, and capacity projections; evaluate alternatives; and
make appropriate recommendations;
● Work closely with the Product Development teams to help planning and designing of
required database structures, resolve problems as well as optimize performance on key
projects and systems;
● Mentor and train colleagues where necessary by helping them learn and improve their SQL
skills, as well as innovate and iterate on best practices;
● Prepare and maintain documentation such as database configuration and content, security
and user authorizations;

Looking for the following skills and competences :

● Deep knowledge and experience with relational databases;
● Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of relational database design and operation;
● Ability to analyze, follow through, and resolve complex data problems;
● Experience working in an Agile environment;
● Good written and verbal English skills;

Good to know :

● Familiarity working with job scheduler tools and ETL tools;
● Knowledge of / Experience with PostgreSQL and Python;
● Knowledge of / Experience with Google Cloud Computing and other cloud services;
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science;
