The Global Engineering and Network team is responsible for the design and provisioning of Telus International’s infrastructure and virtual services.
The team works closely with Global Support, Local IT Help Desk, Transition and Transformation and Procurment teams to ensure the efficient, cost-effective delivery of high-quality services to both internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities:
Implementation, Test and Major changes on corporate Network Security infrastructure
Network Security Implementation, Test and Major changes related Application deployments
Technical validation of Major Changes and Requests for Network Security
Technical point of contact from Global perspective for Bulgarian site
Pro-active diagnoses and fix of technical issues arising during development of new technologies affecting the Network Security
Pro-active escalation, follow-through and liaison with appropriate departments to resolve technical issues which may impact TI’s infrastructure
Applies ITIL methodology to the role and follows best practice standards and processes
Adheres to Telus International security policies and report incidents to the appropriate operations functions
Assists in the Continual Process Improvement (CPI) program as needed
Work on assigned projects as directed by senior management
Our requirements:
- 5 years of experience in deploying, configuring, managing Network Security solutions – Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, CheckPoint
- In-depth knowledge of telecom and Network security industry and standards
- Excellent English language skills
- IP. MPLS and routing knowledge in an ISP environment
- Professional, structured and proactive approach to projects and initiatives
- Positive and approachable team player
- Self-motivated with good organizational and communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Calm and productive under pressure
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
- Efficient and productive with good time management skills
- Proven ability to meet internal and external deadlines
