We are looking for Ruby on Rails Developer to join our R&D office in Sofia, Bulgaria to work within a growing team to improve existing and build brand new Acronis products, which are used by hundreds of thousands of users throughout the world and a large number of the world’s most prominent companies.Responsibilities:
Design and write great code using Ruby on Rails for our existing and new products
Collaborate closely with other members of the product team, QA and DevOps to deliver quality software to our customers
Promote the use of best practice software development techniques to help the team continuously improve
Requirements:
Technical educational background – computer science, information technology, telecommunications
4+ years of relevant software engineering experience, preferably developing commercial services/products
3+ years of experience in software development with Ruby on Rails or one of the following – Ruby, Python, PHP
Experience with jRuby, AngularJS, PostgreSQL will be considered a definite plus, but it is not mandatory
Knowledge about Agile, TDD, CI is a plus
Interests in SaaS, security, performance heavy cloud services and related technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kubernetes
Fluent English
