We are looking for QA Engineer / Ex. System administrator to work with Acronis Backup product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Testing of client-server applications designed to cover backup/recovery of virtualization environments
- Assist with analyzing of feature requirements, verify product functionality alignment with the requirements
- Design, deploy, install, provision, troubleshoot, and maintain of internal virtualization infrastructure used for testing
- Execute manual tests according to functional specifications and other design and product documentation.
- Work closely with other teams to assist with troubleshooting of virtualization-related problems: evaluate and analyze issues, performance, and other metrics in order to provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Diagnose, solve and provide root cause analysis for application/hardware/OS/networking related issues.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Experience with virtualization solutions: VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Experience with Microsoft Windows on administrator level (experience with AD, DNS, DHCP setup)
- Desire to advance in software testing as QA engineer
- Desire to advance in QA methodologies and software development processes
- Ready to learn modern virtualization technologies and best practices
- English at intermediate level: reading technical documentation and written communication skills
