About the company:
A native software company developing solutions for big international corporations. They are currently looking for young and ambitious developers to join their new team in the city of Stara Zagora. The company is searching for:
SOFTWARE ENGINEER (JAVA / PYTHON)
Responsibilities:
* Work with teams in Hamburg and San Francisco in developing data services with Java and Python;
* Keep a friendly attitude in communication with your colleagues;
* Take an active part in all project stages. Depending on specific project requirements these stages could be: analysis, estimation, design, documentation, writing code, testing, writing integration tests, resolving issues and support;
* Debug the Java/Scala/Python code;
* Discuss tasks with your colleagues and validate code quality;
* Further, develop your expertise and continue learning.
Main requirements:
* 2 years of professional experience in software development;
* Experience with Java, J2EE;
* Good knowledge of Python;
* Ability to write efficient Java/Python code;
* Knowledge of Design Patterns; OOP; Multithreading and Concurrency;
* Experience with source control (Git preferred);
* Good English (reading, writing and speaking);
Skills considered as an advantage:
* Knowledge of GC, JIT and memory best practices;
* Experience with Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, or HDFS;
* Experience designing, implementing and operating large-scale stateful distributed systems;
* Experience with RDBMS internals, JDBC and SQL.
