We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D center in Bulgaria, Sofia. The QA Engineer will work with innovative technologies on a new file syncing and sharing solution. The engineer will be mainly responsible for creating, and passing through testing scenarios and release acceptance. This involves collaborating with other teams located around the globe including RnD departments in different countries.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with strong desire to learn and improve, and who is just as excited about innovation, technology and quality as we are.


Responsibilities:

Understand and analyze product requirements and communicate with engineering staff and product management teams
Collect comprehensive and relevant data for problem investigation
Prepare test environments
Develop test design of user scenarios, test cases and checklists
Develop and execute manual tests, report and process defects
Analyze customers’ issues and investigate their root causes
Take part in planning processes
Develop and execute some automated tests if you have such experience and willingness to learn

Job Requirements:

Technical educational background – computer science, information technology, telecommunications
1+ year of developing test cases for complex applications
Deep and practical knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, various software applications
Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies and techniques
Analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical puzzles
Fluent English
Will be considered an advantage the experience with automated testing tools (RSpec, Cucumber, Selenium)
