The Global Engineering and Network team is responsible for the design and provisioning of TELUS International’s infrastructure and virtual services.

The team works closely with Global Support, Local IT Help Desk, Transition and Transformation and Procurement teams to ensure the efficient, cost-effective delivery of high-quality services to both internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities:

Implementation, test and changes on HW and Virtual Hosting services and Storage, VDI
Implementation, test and changes on Application monitoring and security solutions from Bluecoat and Palo Alto
Technical approval for Major Changes for Servers
Technical point of contact from the Global perspective for Bulgarian site
Pro-active diagnoses and fix of technical issues arising during development of new technologies affecting Windows & Virtualization
Pro-active escalation, follow-through and liaison with appropriate departments to resolve basic technical issues which may impact TI’s infrastructure
Applies ITIL methodology to the role and follows best practice standards and processes
Adheres to TELUS International security policies and report incidents to the appropriate operations functions
Assists in the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) program as needed
Work on assigned projects as directed by senior management

Our requirements:

Five years of experience in deploying, configuring, managing Windows servers/clusters
Excellent understanding of AD and ability to implement basic configuration
Very good knowledge of telecom and hosting industry and standards
Good technical knowledge and understanding of best practice standards and the practical implementation of processes to ensure repeatable quality work.
Excellent English language skills
Professional, structured and proactive approach to projects and initiatives
Positive and approachable team player
Self-motivated with good organizational and communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Calm and productive under pressure
Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
Efficient and productive with good time management skills
Proven ability to meet internal and external deadlines
