End User Services of GfK is responsible for the corporate directory and messaging services and future roll-out of cloud based services such as Office365 and Azure AD to several thousands of people worldwide.

We are looking to hire an End User Services Engineer for Active Directory and Exchange immediately. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful team. Role & Responsibility:
The primary role of the engineer will be managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the corporate Active Directory and Exchange 2013 environment, in the current / future operating model in a systematic and structured manner
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, configuration of 3rd party software implementation of infrastructure solutions, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of directory and messaging services infrastructure
Department is responsible for the design, creation and maintenance of following Active Directory and Exchange activities: design and implementation of concepts based on industry standard practices for the corporate directory, group policies, security groups, GPO, PKI, ADFS, user and computer objects, logon authentication, scripts, replication, forest and domains, release management, production, user/account provisioning, LDAP/application support, Office365/Exchange Online administration in a hybrid environment and third level problem management support.
Works within the Information Technology function of Global EUS, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies.
Participates in architecture reviews to ensure that solutions comply with standards, policies and uses approved technologies
Works and collaborates closely with InfoSec to keep the security level up to date with industry standards and develop strategy for new projects in IT
area
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas towards Cloud; supports the migration towards cloud based services (such as Azure, Office365 etc.)
Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful
Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives
Participate in cross-division, multi-functional teams
Technical skills required:
University Degree in IT or related subject area,
Minimum of 4 year related work experience managing an enterprise level Active Directory domain or cross-domain management
Very good English language skills in both written and spoken
Very good and applicable knowledge and proven experience of Active Directory and related technologies (DFS, DNS, ADFS, Replication, Topology, LDAP, etc.) management, troubleshooting, and design within a large multi-domains environment,
Experience with email hygiene and message transport policies (Mimecast etc.),
1 year experience with Microsoft cloud services (Azure, Office 365),
Experience in Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2013 administration,
Experience with implementing and understanding of IT Security best practices and controls for Active Directory,
Good knowledge of Windows Server Operating System, and other Microsoft infrastructure products (on premise and cloud based).
Strong experience & deep knowledge in at least a few scripting and / or programming languages – PowerShell mandatory
Considered an advantage:
Understanding of IT networking principles and foundations,
Familiar with Dell/Quest ActiveRoles, IdM, Intrust, ChangeAuditor tools,
Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL/SQL Express,
Experience with Icinga/Nagios or similar monitoring tools such as SCOM etc.
