Main responsibilities:

- Taking over unresolved issues from 1st level support as well as documenting the final resolution
- Making proposals for process improvements and applications in use whenever possible
- Extracting and analyzing data using Oracle SQL
- Escalating unresolved cases further to 3rd level support teams, such as Development and System Management
- Using JIRA as a tool to address issues and communication with internal customers/teams
- Sticking to the predefined SLA/OLA times in JIRA
- Helping his/her direct manager in his/her daily duties
- Participating in internal/external trainings
- Informing his/her direct manager in case of any obstacles or issues in his/her daily duties
- Following all internal processes and guidelines
- Independent processing of incoming global support-tickets (incl. reply via Helpdesk, E-Mail or Phone)
- Monitoring the adherence for SLAs and OLAs
- Contribution to bigger Support-Projects, with strong alignment with commercial and operative departments
- Involvement within Design and Development phases of new software products, which needs to be supported and integrated into the Support-Portfolio

Required skills and experience:

- University degree in IT, Informatics or related subject area
Self-driven and proactive personality with willingness to learn
- Strong attention to details
- A great team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain complex issues in a simpler way
- High discipline and responsibility
- Good database and SQL knowledge
- Experience with MS Office suite and remote Desktop
- Very good English language skills
- Experience with Jira will be considered as an advantage
