Together with the company, we are looking for a professional to start as the first member of a newly created team as a:
BIG DATA ENGINEER WITH HADOOP EXPERIENCE
- 1st & 2nd line support on console ops, batch jobs, housekeeping and etc.;
- Support deployment and analyze data misalignment across systems;
- Review any CR to perform software upgrades and Test the release in JIT and support UAT process;
- Work closely with Big Data Architects and Big Data Developers on implementation and continuously engineer optimizations of the platform;
- 3rd Level Incident Management;
Experience:
- 6+ years background in the IT industry, at least 2 of which in Linux/Unix Administration;
- Solid understanding and experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Hive and Apache spark;
- ETL and data migrations;
- Strong knowledge in Apache / Tomcat web server, LDAP, SQL or No-SQL databases;
- Bachelor's Degree in IT related specialty;
Some advantages which are not mandatory:
- Experience in the telecom/service provider sector;
- Background in programming and scripting;
- Kafka and Ni-Fi experience;
- Experience in Cloud-based deployments and Azure HDInsight.
