What will be your daily challenges?

The ITO team in Sofia is delivering tier 4 IT support to Telus customers across Canada. We are looking for System Administrator to join our team on a diverse range of projects. Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of server builds, tuning, upgrade, testing and patching. You will develop the documentation, provide technical support, resolve incidents and performance problems. Regular hours for this role are 13:00 – 21:00 p.m.

What will be your tasks?

Server design, build and adoption of tools
Implementation and test of patches and system upgrades
Development of documentation, securing the environment, assuming system responsibilities
Provide support and resolve technical problems
Direct communication with customers in an effective and professional manner

What are our expectations?

Strong knowledge in Microsoft Server (2003 to 2019)- AD, DNS, DFS, GPO, RDS
Strong knowledge in VMware vSphere - vCenter and ESXi (5.5 and above)
Strong knowledge in at least one server hardware family – HPE, CISCO, IBM. Blade enclosures and stand-alone servers - configure, support and upgrade
Very good verbal and written skills in English

Great to have:

Knowledge in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Scripting experience
University degree in the related field and MCSE/MCSA/MCITP certifications are an asset
VMware Certified Professional
Confident in building new solutions from scratch (MS, VMware, Third Party)
